Frequently Asked Questions

What is a
Chiropractor?

Chiropractors are health professionals who use nonsurgical techniques to help patients with musculoskeletal problems that involve the bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons or the nervous system. We use a drug-free, hands-on approach for patient diagnosis and treatment.

We primarily use manual techniques, such as spinal manipulations and recommend therapeutic or rehabilitative exercises as well.

To become a chiropractor, students must have a 3-4 year of undergraduate education, attend an accredited, four-year Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree program, and pass a licensure exam to be licensed for practice in their state.

After graduation, Chiropractors can also further their skills by obtaining specialization certifications such a functional rehab training, and sports injury rehabilitation.

What is
1-on-1 treatment?

Once you enter through our doors you will immediately be greeted with our rehab and chiropractic studio. There is no waiting room because our patients will be seen almost immediately. Dr. Huang gives 100% of his attention to one patient at a time and will never juggle between two people at once.

Our scheduling system will never overlap with another patient’s time. However, for transparency, if there is a patient that needs just a little more attention than expected, there may be slight overlap between back to back appointments.

At the end of the day, we measure our success on Quality of care not Quantity of patients that sees us.

Do I need to be an athlete to see you?

Short answer: No!

Long answer: Our doors are open for anyone with any type of injury or ailment. You do not have to be injured from playing a sport to see us. Patients who seek our care come in with all types of problems. Our goal is to get you feeling better and teach you new skills to keep you better

Do you take insurance?

Yes we do! However there is a chance that we will be Out of Network with your insurance provider. The majority of offices who are in-network with most insurances - although cheaper - do not offer the same face to face quality of care that every patient deserves. Each appointment ranges from 30 mins to 1 hour which includes careful observation during exercises and/or manual (hands-on) therapy.

Contact us or Submit Online to provide us with your insurance information to see if you’re covered.

We also offer competitive cash rates for those without health insurance coverage.

What do you treat?

We treat all types of injuries. Whether you have an Acute or Chronic condition, we will always do a proper evaluation to make a proper diagnosis. Our priority is to get you better. If you have a condition that warrants additional imaging or consultation with a specialist, we will do our very best to send you to the appropriate doctor to best manage your case.

Why do I see physical therapy?

We are pleased to partner up with Dr. John Zhou, Physical Therapist who shares spaces with Dr. Dan.
